Olikka implemented our best-in-class Architecture Framework, built upon the Azure Cloud Architecture Framework (CAF). It measures a company’s IT architecture against best practices. This,in turn, allows Olikka to get a better view of current performance and areas for improvement. After the multi-step process, the client received a custom cloud strategy and architecture based on five pillars--Cost, DevOps, Resiliency, Scalability and Security
As a result, Olikka was able to launch the new system quickly whilst successfully avoiding data centres and provisioning rack space and hardware procurement. For the client, the biggest benefits to their Azure transition were market and capital savings. With a customer workforce spread across many locations, the new systems also provided key personnel with convenient access from anywhere, thus enabling the company’s continuous expansion.
