Team Olikka recently completed their annual walking challenge. This year it was different being isolated, but that didn't stop us!

Being active and taking the time away from the screen is essential for not only physical health but also mental wellness.
Congrats to the whole team for their remarkable efforts and teamwork.

Team's who train together, stay together! 💪

AIM: How far can Olikka go?

Staff were divided into teams to provide that competitive spirit!

QUEST: Each team to work together, motivate each other to get from Olikka HQ @ Flinders Station, Victoria to Sydney Harbour Bridge, NSW.

TIME FRAME: 4 weeks.

OPTIONS: Walking or Cycling permitted.

RESULTS: Collectively, TeamOlikka exceeded all expectations and travelled a whopping 6436.4km THAT'S APPROX ADELAIDE TO DARWIN!

Who knew you could achieve such distance in isolation.

GREAT WORK, TEAM!

Early on we had two teams starting to battle it out for the crown. It was tricky for other groups to keep up the speed.

The quickest team to reach the destination went to "CHAFING THE DREAM". Not only did they get there in smart time, they also travelled the furthest - a whopping 1,411.29km achieved in 35 days!!! (of which a HUGE shout out needs to go to the machine that is david.minnelli for contributing a good chunk of the 895.4km cycled.

The second team across the line was "ISO SLAYIN"A mammoth effort from these guys who travelled 1230.9km and were pretty darn close behind.
A big shoutout to Adrian Godlewicz for running 232.1km and the team for stepping the majority of their distance. (26.2km cycled) Putting that in perspective the Chafers collectively travelled from our office on Flinders street to Nambucca Heads in NSW, with the Slayers not far behind landing in Port Maquarie !!!

WOWSERS. YES Olikka

:olikkalogo:

Both teams deserve a BIG shout out for their efforts!!!!
